18-year-old Kaliegh Garris from New Haven in Connecticut and 28-year-old Cheslie Kryst from Charlotte in North Carolina, were announced the winners of two prestigious American beauty contests – Miss Teen USA and Miss USA. The finals of both competitions took place at the Grand Sierra Resort hotel and casino in Reno, Nevada. The Miss USA 2019 winner will represent her country in the Miss Universe 2019.
On April 28 at the Grand Sierra Resort hotel and casino in Reno, were held the preliminary and final of Miss Teen USA 2019. 51 candidates took part in the competition for the title, but only fifteen of them could be promoted to the next stage, which was a show in swimsuits and evening gowns. After these screenings and questions asked by the jurors for the five finalists, the most beautiful American teenager was chosen. She was a representative of Connecticut.
Kaliegh Garris is 18 years old and she is a high school student and the Educational Center for Arts (theater specialization) student. She is the founder of the organization called “We Are People 1st”, which helps people with disabilities. For social work, Kaliegh Garris was awarded by the Connecticut Department of Development Services.In addition to learning and charity, the new Miss Teen USA dedicates time to his passion. She trains contemporary dance, jazz, pointe, hip hop and tap.

A few days later, in the same hotel took place the final of Miss USA 2019. The choice of the most beautiful American and US representative in the Miss Universe competition 2019 was the responsibility of an 8-member jury, including Denise Quiñones – Miss Universe 2001 and Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters – Miss Universe 2017. 51 candidates competed for the crown. After the swimsuits competition was announced TOP 10, and after the evening gowns competition was announced TOP 5 and TOP 3.
The sash and crown of Miss USA 2019 went to 28-year-old Cheslie Kryst from Charlotte, North Carolina. The most beautiful American woman is a lawyer and specialist in business management. In addition to his professional work for the law firm, she acts socially – provides legal assistance to prisoners. Earlier, she practiced sport – she took part in heptathlon, long jump and triple jump. She also runs a fashion blog.
