On Wednesday, July 3, The Miss México Organization announced in social media that the final of Miss México 2019 second phase will take place on Friday, September 20 in the Mexico City! This means that the date of the competition has been postponed, because the grand final was supposed to take place on Saturday, 7 September. During the event will be elected a representative of Mexico for the Miss World 2019, which will receive the crown from Vanessa Ponce de León – Miss World 2018 from Mexico.
In this year the Miss México contest was divided into two phases. The final of the first phase took place on June 1 in San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Chiapas, and selected representatives of Mexico for the Miss Grand International 2019 and Miss United Continents 2019. They were 22-year-old María Malo (Miss México Grand 2019) and 26-year-old Kenya Ponce (Miss México Continentes Unidos 2019).

Special guests of the Miss México first phase were Clara Sosa – Miss Grand International 2018 from Paraguay and Miss United Continents 2018 – Andrea Saénz from Mexico.
The final of the second phase was planned for Saturday, September 7. However, this date has changed and the Mexican representative for the Miss World 2019 will be chosen two weeks later, on Friday, September 20.
The host of the Miss México 2019 will be the Mexico City. Thirty-two candidates will take part in the competition. The crowning of the new miss will be made by Vanessa Pónce de León – Miss México 2018 and Miss World 2018!
