On Saturday, October 26 at the Cove Manila beach club in Parañaque in Philippines took place the Miss Earth 2019 final. The winner is 22-year-old Nellys Pimentel from Puerto Rico. The Polish representative was also successful. 22-year-old Krystyna Sokołowska from Bialystok has been promoted to the group of ten best candidates! It should be noted that this is the first promotion of our representative in this international beauty contest since 2013!
On Saturday, October 26 at the Cove Manila beach club in Parañaque in Philippines took place the Miss Earth 2019 final. 85 candidates from around the world took part in this year’s edition. The winner is 22-year-old Nellys Pimentel from Puerto Rico. The other three titles went to Emanii Davis from USA (Miss Earth Air), Klára Vavrušková from Czech Republic (Miss Earth Water) and Alisa Manenok from Belarus (Miss Earth Fire).

Among the candidates for the crown was also the Polish representative, 22-year-old Krystyna Sokołowska from Białystok. Miss Earth Poland 2019 is 178 cm tall. She comes from Ciasne but lives in Bialystok.
Krystyna is a student of economics and physical education. She practices artistic gymnastics and is a trainer of this discipline. She plays the piano. She has won the title of 2nd Runner-Up in Miss Teenager of Podlaskie Voivodeship 2013 and participation in the Miss Podlaskie Voivodeship 2017.
During the Miss Earth 2019 pageant in the Philippines a beautiful Polish woman took part in many activities. She attended an environmental seminar at the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, spent the day with soldiers of the Philippine Navy, Air Force and Army. Planted trees several times, incl. coconut palm.

She visited the district of houses built on the water, planted an artificial coral reef and fed the zebras!

She also spent some time with children, whom she loves very much – she visited children of the Child Haus hospital and the Nayon ng Kabataan orphanage.
The Polish woman was noticed by the jury before the grand finale. She won the swimsuit competition, which took place on Tuesday, October 8 at DV Boer Farm in Batangas. In her group, she beat 27 competitors from the US Virgin Islands, Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Bolivia, Montenegro, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Spain, Netherlands, Honduras, Canada, Kazakhstan, Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, Germany, Nigeria, South Africa, Russia, Sierra Leone, Singapore, South Sudan, Thailand, Venezuela and Hungary.

During the final Krystyna Sokołowska presented herself in a national costume, swiumsuit and a beautiful blue evening gown.
It is worth mentioning that the Krystyna Sokołowska promotion to the TOP 10 is Poland’s first success in six years in the Miss Earth competition! In 2013, Aleksandra Szczęsna – 2nd Runner-Up of Miss Polonia 2012 was promoted to TOP 8. Katarzyna Borowicz in 2005 (3rd place – Miss Earth Water) and Marta Matyjasik in 2003 (4th place – Miss Earth Fire) have achieved the greatest success so far.
