On Saturday, February 8 at the Salón Sirionó de la Fexpocruz fairground in the Bolivian city of Santa Cruz took place the Reina Hispanoamericana 2019 final. The crown and title of the most beautiful woman promoting the heritage, language and culture of Spanish-speaking countries went to 22-year-old Regina Peredo from Mexico! The beautiful Mexican woman has beaten twenty-eight competitors, including representatives of Brazil, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Paraguay, Venezuela, Philippines, Spain, Dominican Republic, Haiti and USA.
This year’s edition of the Reina Hispanoamericana is undoubtedly exceptional. For the first time, candidates came to Bolivia at the end of October last year. They were to take part in the finals scheduled for Saturday, November 9. Unfortunately, due to post-election political unrest, the competition was suspended and the girls had to return to their countries! When the situation calmed down, the organizers announced the new election date.
Finally, the Reina Hispanoamericana 2019 competition started at the end of January this year. Twenty-nine candidates from North and South America, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia came to Santa Cruz. During the grouping, candidates visited the medical center, dental clinic and SPA, took part in photo sessions promoting the Boulevard carnival, presented themselves during the official presentation at the Yotau hotel and during the Boulevard carnival, competed with each other in the Miss Sport mini competition, visited the city of Chuquisaca, where they took participated in shows and national costumes competition and visited the city of Nueva Santa Cruz.
On Wednesday, February 5 was held the Beauty Gala , during which the organizers and sponsors awarded special titles for the candidates. The grand final of the Reina Hispanoamericana competition took place on Saturday, February 8 at the Salón Sirionó de la Fexpocruz in Santa Cruz. Challengers to the crown presented themselves on the stage in beautiful white dresses, white swimsuits, national costumes and evening gowns. In each show, they were accompanied by last year’s laureate – Nariman Battikha from Venezuela.
The selection of the most beautiful woman promoting the heritage, language and culture of Spanish-speaking countries was made by a panel of judges, which included Bruno Kettels – Mister Bolivia 2009 and Mister International 2009 and Olivia Pinheiro – Miss Bolivia 2010, 1st Runner-Up of Reina Hispanoamericana 2010 and Miss Universe 2011 participant.

The title of Reina Hispanoamericana 2019 was awarded to 22-year-old Regina Peredo from Mexico! Regina Peredo Gutiérrez is 173 cm tall and comes from the Puebla city. She is a marketing student and professional model. She is socially and charitable. She is a member of the UPEC association, which focuses on the problem of women’s empowerment and the promotion of proper nutrition and human development. In the future, she would like to open her own marketing agency that would support Mexican entrepreneurs.
Regina is known in the world of Mexican beauty contests. In October 2018 she won the Mexicana Universal Puebla state’s pageant, and in June last year she won the title and crown of Mexicana Hispanoamericana 2019 during the Mexicana Universal 2019 grand final!

Reina Hispanoamericana 2019 crown is not the only distinction with which Regina left Bolivia! The beautiful Mexican woman became the finalist of the Mejor Cabellera (Best Hair) competition. She was also a finalist of the Miss Elegancia Face (Miss Elegance Face) competition and a finalist of the “Amaszonas Girl” competition (award granted by the Amaszonas airlines).

The Virreina Hispanoamericana 2019 title, equivalent to the title of main runner-up went to 28-year-old Gabrielle Vilela de Souza from Brazil. Gabrielle is known among fans of beauty contests. She participated in the Miss World 2017 (TOP 40) and Miss Grand International 2018 (TOP 20) pageants.

Further places in the competition were taken by 24-year-old Laura Juliana Claro from Colombia (3rd place), 23-year-old Yuanilie Alvarado from Puerto Rico (4th place), 26-year-old Ketlin Lottermann from Paraguay (5th place), 23-year-old Liz Valeria Badell from Venezuela (6th place), 21-year-old Maria Katrina Llegado from Philippines (7th place), 25-year-old Ainara Cardaño from Spain (8th place), 21-year-old Franchesca Ástier from Dominican Republic (9th place), 24 -year-old Cassandra Chéry from Haiti (10th place) and 19-year-old Monserrat Báez from USA (11th place).
It’s good to know that Regina Peredo is called the first Mexican woman who win the Reina Hispanoamericana pageant. In fact, the first Mexican woman who triumphed in this competition is Laura Elena Zúñiga Huizar. Reina Hispanoamericana 2008 was stripped of her title two months after winning, because she was arrested and her connections with a criminal group came to light.
