On Friday, August 21, the organizers of the Miss Earth Singapore pageant announced on social media that due to the coronavirus pandemic, They were unable to organize this year’s competition, and the title of Miss Earth Singapore 2020 was awarded by 21-year-old Christina Cai, who will represent Singapore in the jubilee, 20th edition of the Miss Earth Pageant, which will take place completely virtually at the turn of September, October and November!
Miss Earth Singapore 2020 is another national beauty contest which was not held due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, the organizers of the pageant, representatives of the CT Hansen International holding company, chose a representative of Singapore who will take part in this year’s, jubilee 20th edition of Miss Earth! The title and the crown of Miss Earth Singapore 2020 was won by 21-year-old Christina Cai from Singapore. Christina is 160 cm tall and is a dance student at LASALLE College of the Arts. She works as a freelance dancer, dance instructor and choreographer. She is also a model.
Christina loves to dance, sing and travel. She is also interested in acting, and in the recent past she practiced yoga, spinning and rhythmic gymnastics. She also played netball and was teaching bounce.
Miss Earth Singapore 2020 is not the only title which Christina can be proud of. In August 2017, during the Miss Singapore Beauty Pageant 2017 contest, she won the Miss Singapore Chinatown 2017 title and with it the right to represent the country in Miss Chinese International 2018, which took place in February 2018. During the international pageant Christina was promoted to TOP 10!
A year later, in June 2019, Christina took part in the Miss Earth Singapore 2019 pageant. During the grouping of this competition, she won the Miss Popularity and Miss Talent titles. The final she finished in 3rd place, winning the Miss Water Singapore 2019 title.
